He lived at the farm home in South Boston until thirteen years ago, when he moved with his parents to Lowell, where he has since made his home. He is survived by his aged mother, four sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Ada Rogers, Mrs. Mae Laux, and Miss Dora Chase, all of Lowell, Mrs. Marie Randall, of North Woodbury, N.J., Austin Chase, of Saranac, Herbert Chase of South Boston, and Wayne Chase, of Grand Rapids, Mich. The father having passed away six years ago. He was a faithful loving son and brother, and will be greatly missed in the home circle, where his happy cheerful disposition endeared him to all. He was a member of Lowell lodges, I.O.O.F., and I.O.O.M. He was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to those in trouble and will be greatly missed by a wide circle of friends. The funeral services were held in the home, January 14, 1922, and he was laid to rest by the side of his father in the South Boston cemetery.
