Dorothy Elizabeth Chase, age 83, of Saranac passed away at home, April 17, 
2007 in Saranac. She was born September 15, 1923 in Ionia the daughter of Leon 
and Eunice (Tucker) Miller. She lived all her life in Saranac. Dorothy married 
Harold (Chum) Chase in 1950 in Ionia who preceded her in death in 1966.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Dale Wilson of Grand Rapids; sister, Iva 
Bennett of Saranac; brothers, George Miller of Saranac and Joe and Waverly 
Miller of Ionia; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 5 great great 
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by 2 
sons, Paul Monks and William Monks, 1 sister and 1 brother.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac 
with Rev. John Madvig officiating. The family will receive friends and 
relatives one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
