Ionia Sentinel Standard, 26 May 1927

The funeral service for Mrs. Sherman Chase was held from the home in South Ionia
Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Rev. L.B. Hammond, of Barryton, officiated at
the service.  The bearers were ___ Wright, D.O. McVeigh, D.A. Alexander, Frank
Bushre, Joe Laux, and Chubb David.  The flowers were in charge of Edith B.
Arrigh, Anna Peterson and Mrs. Benton.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Highland Park Cemetery.]
