The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, May 11, 1928


The funeral services for Mrs. Eunice Chase, of Boston township, who died 
Wednesday following a week’s illness of pneumonia aggravated by heart disease 
and inward-growing goiter, will be held from the home Saturday afternoon at 2 
o’clock, with Rev. Williams, of Clarksville, in charge.  The burial will be in 
the South Boston cemetery.

Mrs. Chase was 49 years of age and is survived only by her husband and an 
aunt, Mrs. Kate Fletcher, who lives in Boston township.  Mrs. Chase was active 
in the interest of the community, and always made many exhibits in the floral, 
fancy work, and bakes goods departments during the free fair, and had many a 
blue ribbon to her credit for her capable domestic science ability.
