Burial will be in Union cemetery near Lacey. Mrs. Cheeseman of route 4, Hastings died Tuesday morning at Lakeview General hospital at Battle Creek after a long illness. A lifelong resident of Barry County she was born December 14, 1888 the daughter of Charles and Emma Wertz Hoffman and was married to Thomas Cheeseman, December 15, 1909, in Hastings. She was a member of the Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses of Hastings. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles Wagner of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. LaVern DeWitt of Hastings; three sons, Wilfrid of Linden, Harold of Hastings and Neal of Columbus, Ohio; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; one sister Mrs. Nettie Jones; one brother, Ira Hoffman both of Battle Creek.
