Ionia Sentinel Standard, 11 Feb 1942

Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Cheney, 83, who died at Eugene, Oregon, at the
home of her son, Ray, this week, will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. war
time, from the Myers funeral home.  Dr. Paul L. Stewart will officiate and
interment will be at Highland Park cemetery.

She had lived in Ionia county all her life with the exception of the past two
years which she has spent with her son.  She last made her home in Ionia on West
Main street.  The husband, Era Cheney, died in 1935.

Surviving are the son, Ray, two grandchildren, and one nephew, Guy Hoppough, of
Portland.  The body will arrive in Ionia Saturday morning.
