Lake Odessa Wave-Times   October 21, 1943

CHARLES CHENEY DIED SATURDAY

Charles Cheney, 74, died early Saturday, after an illness of two years, at the 
home of  his brother-in-law and sister Mr and Mrs John Demaray here with whom he 
had made his home for the past 21 years. He was born in Irving township, Barry 
county, November 4, 1868, and lived there until he moved to Lake Odessa in 1922.

Funeral services were held from the Whorley & Baine chapel Monday afternoon, 
with burial in Lakeside cemetery.

Besides the sister, he is survived by a brother Allie in Carlton.
