Mrs. Clarence C. Chickering, 72, formerly of Belding and for the past three 
years a resident of Ypsilanti, died suddenly Wednesday.

Mrs. Chickering died at the home of her son Clarence Chickering Jr. of 
Ypsilanti where she and Mr. Chickering have been living.

Mr. and Mrs. Chickering celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary four years 
ago. She was the former Myrtle Crosby of Greenville.

Funeral services are to be conducted from the Fales-Huffman funeral home at 
Belding Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Belding cemetery.

Surviving are her husband, two sons, Lawrence of Detroit and Clarence of 
Ypsilanti: two daughters, Mrs. Isabelle Duguid of Ypsilanti and Mrs. Inez 
Kosbar of Flint, and a sister, Mrs. Mable Foss of Greenville.
