She had lived at the Manor several years. Born August 6, 1887, in Clarksville she was the daughter of Hiram and Susan Matthews Oliver and attended the Clarksville Schools. September 2, 1916, she was married to William Chorley in Ionia and he survives and lives at the Manor. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Saranac. Besides her husband she leaves a son, Frederick Chorley of Morrison Lake; daughter, Mrs. Zenah Shaw of Haslett; eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; brother, Manley Oliver of Big Rapids. She was a life member of the Rebecca lodge of Saranac and its past noble grand. She was also a member of the Saranac Ladies Aid society. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Morris-Roetman funeral home in Saranac. Rev. Royal Bailard will officiate and interment will be at the Clarksville cemetery. Family will be at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Bearers will be Peter Shaw, Jr., Terry Eman, Gregory Walker, William Chorley, Lewis Gould and Cecil Fewlass.
