Sentinel-Std. - Tuesday, July 17, 1979

PORTLAND- Gordon F. Chorley, of 811 Lyons Rd., Portland, died Sunday in 
Lansing.

Born in Clarksville, he was the son of Frank Chorley and Gertrude Neeb.

Surviving are his wife Clara, of Portland; one son, Carl Noren Portland; 
three daughters, Mrs. Gean O'Bannon of Eagle, Mrs. Alice Hoppes of Portland, 
and Mrs. Jill Betts of Marietta, Georgia; 11 grandchildren and one great-
grand child; two brothers, Gaylord of Lansing and Gerald of Lake Odessa; and 
one sister, Mrs. Helen Vida of Detroit. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Neller Funeral 
Home in Portland, with the Rev. Father James Carmody of the St. Patrick's 
Church in Portland officiating. 

Burial will be in Chapel Hills cemetery in Lansing.

Pall Bearers will be Gordon Hoppes, Robert Troub, Paul Chorley, John 
Chorley, Kenneth Noren and Gregory Beberbeyer.
