The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 9, 1954

Henry Christensen, 90, died Monday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. 
LeRoy Ketner, at Spring Lake.  He was born March 4, 1864 in Denmark and came 
to Michigan at the age of 16.  He lived in Ionia and Montcalm counties most of 
his life where he was a farmer.

In 1886 he was married to Ida Rasmussen who preceded him in death about ten 
years ago.  Of this union eleven children were born of whom nine survive: Six 
sons, Roy of Florida, John of Grand Raids, LaVerne of Sheridan, Ralph of 
Belding, Raymond of Fenwick, Charles of Grand Blanc; three daughters, Mrs. 
Ruth Runyon of Florida, Mrs. Mildred Leach of Bellaire and Mrs. Jennie Ketner 
of Spring Lake.

Mr. Christensen reposes at Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan.  Funeral 
arrangements have not yet been completed.
