Judith “Judy” Christensen, 66, of Alto, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 27, 
2011. 

Judy was an extraordinary woman with extraordinary love for her family and dogs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Christensen.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Dean (Trang) Christensen, Randy 
(Amy) Christensen, Wendy (Angelo) Christensen-Grimes; grandchildren, April, 
Nate, Nick, Ryan, Aaron, Marshall and Austin; Great grandchildren, Jake, Haven, 
Riley, Brooke, Remington, and Dawson; brother, Donald (Debbie) Sherwood; 
sisters, Barbara (Forrest) Peterson, Juanita (Ken) Cotter, Robin (Bill) Jancek; 
brother-in-laws, James Christensen, Steven Christensen; sister-in-law, Monica 
Smith; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Thursday at Ada Bible Church, 8899 Cascade Road, 
S.E., Ada. 11 a.m. Brady Nemmers officiating. Interment Bowne Center Cemetery. 
Visitations are 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. 
Hudson, Lowell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ionia County Humane 
Society, 3256 State Road, Ionia, MI 48846.
