Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 8 Jan 1935

Peter Christensen, 60 years of age died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank 
Walters, Berlin township, Monday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock.  Mr. Christensen 
was born in Denmark and for the past ten years has made his residence on the 
Frank Walters farm.  He is survived by one niece who is a missionary to China.  
Funeral services will be conducted from the Walters home in Berlin, Wednesday 
afternoon at 2:30 o’clock with Rev. E.H. Humphrey, pastor of the Congregational 
church at Saranac officiating.  Interment will be held at the family lot at the 
Saranac Cemetery.
