Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 16 Sep 1960

Funeral service for Mrs. Peter (Pauline) Christensen, 85, formerly of 452 
Harter street, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Boynton funeral home.  
Mrs. Christensen died Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
Frank Lambert in DeRuyter, N.Y., where she had made her home the past several 
years.  She was born in Ionia, January 26, 1875, the daughter of Frederick and 
Rosina Bluemly.  She was married to Peter Christensen who preceded her in death 
in 1949.  A son, Ivan, died in the early 1950’s.  

Mrs. Christensen was the last of a family of 11 children.  She was a member of 
the First Methodist church of Ionia.

Surviving besides her daughter, Mrs. Lilliam Lambert, are five grandchildren.

The Rev. Harold A. Jayne of the First Methodist church will officiate, and 
interment will be in the family lot at Easton cemetery.  The family will be at 
the funeral home Friday from 7 until 9 p.m.
