She was born November 15, 1929 in Cardin, Oklahoma the daughter of Cecil and Gladys (Henson) Hill. Lloyce worked at Michigan Bell Telephone, Publix Supermarket in St. Pete Florida and also owned and operated C & T Cab Service in Ionia. She was a member of Lincoln Ave. Baptist Church. Lloyce loved to Read, do Jig Saw Puzzles and sing the old hymns of the faith. She loved spending time with her family. Surviving are her children Cindy (Pat) Templeton of Canadian Lakes, Eric Christensen of Ionia, Tracye Macauley of Ionia, Lisa (Geoff) Miller of Big Rapids and Jack (Laurel) Christensen of Rockford. Brother Melvin (Vicky) Hill of Florida; grandchildren Tony (Brenda) Mapes of Ionia, Marc (Allison) Mapes of Texas, Becky (Andy) Nowack of Hudsonville, Nick Garland of Ionia, Alex Fedon of Ionia, Allison Miller of Mexico, Andrea (Steven) Ward of Oklahoma, Lelah Christensen of Grand Rapids, Courtney Christensen of Sheridan, Jack P. (Brittney) Christensen of Colorado, Aleks Sanford of Rockford and Riley Sanford of Australia; 12 Great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter and extended family members Hoyt Christensen, Robin and Jimmy Hayden. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Colleen Mayer. Special Thanks to Jill Stigall, Yvonne Elvert and the Spectrum Hospice Team, Ionia Commission on Aging and her oncologist Dr. Brett Brinker and his office Staff. Funeral Services will be held at the Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church, Friday, May 30 at 11 a.m., Pastors Geoff Miller and Jeff Smith officiating. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the Church from 10 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorial contributions in the name of Lloyce for the purpose of World Wide Missions to Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church 345 E. Lincoln Ave. Ionia, MI 48846.
