The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, February 29, 1996
Lester O. Christensen, 61, of Oviedo, Florida died Tuesday, February 27, 1996 
in Oviedo.  He was born in Orleans, the son of Raymond (Lelah Towne) 
Christensen.  He was a 20-year veteran of the Untied States Air Force and did 
landscaping for 23 years in Florida.

He is survived b his wife Janet, of Florida; two sons: Fred and Joseph, both 
of Florida; three daughters: Sonja Bauer, Karen Spicer, and Cindy VanHorn, all 
of Florida; two brothers: Hoyt Christensen, of Ionia, and Richard Christensen, 
of Cape Coral, Florida; sister: Joyce Van Der Velde, of Ionia; and 13 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at the Baldwin-Fairchilds Funeral Home in 
Oviedo at 1 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia 
Foundation.
