The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, June 7, 1950


Word was received in Ionia Wednesday morning of the death of Ivan Christensen, 
55, who dropped dead at his home in Detroit.  

Surviving are the wife, Betty; a daughter, Nancy; a sister, Mrs. Frank Lambert 
of New York City; and his mother, Mrs. Pauline Christensen.  His father, 
Peter, died in August 1949.

Mrs. Pauline Christensen sold her home on Harter street and left early 
Saturday morning for New York City with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and 
Mrs. Frank Lambert, to make her home with them.

Ivan Christensen was born in Easton township near Haynor. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the McKay funeral Home, 
18570 Grand River avenue in Detroit.
