BELDING- John Robert Christiansen, 59, of Stanton, died Saturday morning, Sept. 
22, 2012, at home.

John was born Sept. 24, 1952 in England, the son of Frank R. and Myrtle (Cory) 
Christiansen.

He was a member of the NRA, loved to shoot target practice, enjoyed fishing and 
was a good woodworker. He had worked in the maintenance department of Montcalm 
Community College.

He was married on Feb. 8, 1975 in Stanton to Christie Lee Allen and she 
survives along with their sons, Richard and Rosie Christiansen of California, 
John Christiansen and Aaron Christiansen, both of Stanton; six grandchildren; a 
sister, Chandra and James McCaslin of Pennsylvania; and his nieces.

John was preceded by his parents.

Private family graveside services will take place at River Ridge Cemetery, 
Belding, with Pastor Joel Herron officiating.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral care has been entrusted to Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
