   Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

      GAYLE E. CHRISTIANSEN

Died Friday, November 21, 2025-age 78 formerly of Belding, MI.
Born March 23, 1947 in Belding at home to Harold M."Nick" & Ellewyn Rena (Irish) 
Geisen.
Graduated at Belding High School Class of 1965.
Married on February 27, 1978 to Howard Garfield Christiansen at hies parents  
farm in Fairplains Township, together they enjoyed 47 years of marriage.
Were members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Belding.
Gayle worked as a Clerk for the Belding Chamber of Commerce at the counter in 
the Covered Village Mall, as a cashier at Meijer, Jorgensen's & Save-A-Lot 
stores.
She was a Girl Scout Leader a Cub Scout mother & Webelos Leader & a member of 
Belding Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Also volunteered with Neighborhood Watch for many years & also has been a School 
Crossing Guard.
Preceded in death by her parents; an infant, son Howard Garfield Christiansen 
Jr.;her parents-in-law, Garfield & June Christiansen.
Survived by her husband, Howard G. Christiansen; three sisters, Carol Smith, 
Nancy Kliener, & Mary Skivington; her six children, Jodie, Kirk, Kim, Lori, 
Amanda & Ryan & their families; two step-sons,Robert & John & their families; 
several grandchildren & great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Norma & Dan 
Hutchinson; a brother-in-law, Wayne & Carol Christiansen; & many nieces & 
nephews.
Memorial services ar 11a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Holy Cross 
Lutheran Church, 422 W.High St., Belding with time of food & fellowship to 
follow in the church hall.
The Rev. Robert Wagner, her pastor at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, will officiate 
& burial will take place at a later date at South Sidney Cemetery.
Envelopes for Contributions in Gayle's memory to either Holy Cross Lutheran 
Church or Corewell Health Hospice will e available at the church.
