Lake Odessa Wave
          SERVIES HELD FOR A. CHRISTOPHERSON
   Arthur Christopherson, 75 passed away early Sunday morning at Pennock Hospital,
Hastings, after a long illness.  He was admitted to the hospital Saturday morning.
   He was born in Plano, Ill..  April 30 1893 and came to Lake Odessa area when a
young man and resided with the Harry Pew family on the farm on M-66.
   A veteran of World War I, he served overseas in France with the Medical Corps.
   Mr. Christopherson was employed as mechanic by the Gates and Huntzinger Ford
garage for many years, owned and operated a service station for several years and 
was employed as bus driver for the Lake Odessa school for a number of years before 
his retirement.
   He married Ketha Purdun, June 13, 1926 and they had lived all their married life
in the local area.
