Lake Odessa Waver - July 21, 1977
          K. CHRISTOPHESON DIES AT HASTINGS
   Mar. Ketha Christopherson, 79, of 1503 Tupper Lake Street, Lake Odessa, passed
away Friday afternoon, 
July 15 at the Barry County Medical Care Facility.  She has been hospitalized at
Pennock Hospital, Hastings 
for several weeks before she was transferred to the Facility where she had been a
patient about two months.
   She was born November 16, 1897, in Woodland Township, Barry County, the daughter
of Leon and Orsie 
(Haskins) Purdun and was a lifelong resident of the area and attended the rural area
school.
   She married Arthur Christopherson June 13, 1927 and he passed away December 8,
1968.
   Her only survivors are nieces, nephews and cousins.
   Funeral services were held Monday at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel at one
o'clock.  Rev. Charles 
Dunbar officiated with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
