Sentinel-Standard - Monday, July 7, 1969

LAKE ODESSA- Roy Chupp, 61, was found dead at his Jordan Lake avenue home 
Saturday morning. Coroner Richard Hull of Muir ruled death as due to self 
inflicted gun shot wounds apparently happening sometime Thursday.

he was born December 25, 1907 at White Cloud the son of Moses and Ella Kaufman 
Chupp and moved to Lake Odessa 35 years ago. He was at one time employed at 
Lake Odessa Canning company.

He leaves two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Vandecar of Lake Odessa and Mrs. Beulah 
McCloud of Nappanee, Ind.

Private services were Monday at 1:30 pm at Pickens funeral chapel in Lake 
Odessa. Rev. Marvin Zimmerman officiated and interment was at Lakeside cemetery.
