She chose as her hymns, “My Mother’s Bible” and “Ninety and Nine” which were read by the Rev. Mathew Duffey, of Ionia. Prayer was offered by her nephew, Rev. Lloyd Welton, of Reed City. Her funeral was held at the church of her childhood and the place of her conversion. Her survivors are the husband, Charles Calvin Church, of Ionia; her son, Marvil J. Church, of Pontiac, and her daughter, Mrs. Seth B. Nelson, of Lansing; her grandson, Robert Freemont Church, and her granddaughter, Mrs. Marguerite Simson, of Pontiac. Those attending the funeral from away were Dr. and Mrs. Max Warner, of Lakeview; Dr. Verna L. Simmons, of Grand Rapids; Rev. Lloyd Welton, of Reed City; Mr. and Mrs. George Welton and two sons, Andrew and Gerald, of Caledonia; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gunn, of Lowell; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Church and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Church and son, of Clarksville; Mrs. Charles Lahman and Miss Madeline Rice, of Owosso; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Moe, of Pontiac, Henry Harris, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Rufner and George Hulliberger, of Saranac; Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Kussmaul, of Woodland. Pall bearers were Dr. Max Warner, of Lakeview; Andrew and Gerald Welton, Earl Church, Glenn Sprague, Robert Church and Arnold Simson.
