Ionia Sentinel Standard, 24 & 26 Dec 1935

Mrs. Hulda M. Church, 68 years of age, died at her home, 310 Bliss street, at
11:45 Tuesday morning following an illness of cancer throughout the entire body.
 She was born in Saranac, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Jepson, who
later moved to Clarksville.  She was married to Charles Calvin Church in Ionia,
1888, bur resided in Grand Rapids for a short time and for the past 25 years she
has lived in Ionia.

Mrs. Church has been a patient sufferer for two years and for the past five
months she has been confined to her bed.  She was a member of the Methodist
church and aid society.

Surviving are the husband, Charles C. Church, two children, Mrs. Floy M. Nelson,
of Lansing; Marvil J. Church, of Pontiac; two grandchildren, Robert Freemont and
Mrs. Marguerite Simson, of Pontiac, and two sisters, Mrs. George Welton, of
Alto, and Mrs. Charles Gunn, of Lowell.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1 o’clock, at the Wesleyan
Methodist church in Clarksville, with Rev. M.W. Duffey, of Ionia, and a nephew,
Rev. Lloyd Welton, of Reed City, officiating and interment at the Clarksville
cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hulda M. Church, Ionia, who died Tuesday will be held
Friday with prayer services from the Stebbins funeral home here at 1 p.m. and
church services from the Wesleyan Methodist church at Clarksville at 2 p.m.
