The Lowell Ledger, Thursday, November 23, 1922


The passing of a well-known former South Boston resident for many years, a 
familiar figure in Lowell business places, is recorded by our South Boston 
scribe:

Eustace E. Church, aged 77 years, passed away Sunday at 1 p.m. at Blodgett 
hospital, after a several weeks’ illness, during which he underwent two 
operations in an effort to regain his health.  He was for many years a highly 
respected resident here where he took an active part in affairs of the 
community.  He gave up the active management of his farm and moved to 
Clarksville about twenty-three years ago, where he has since resided.  He is 
survived by his wife, one son, Verne, of Lansing, one daughter, Lena, of 
Clarksville, and four grandchildren.  

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the late home in 
Clarksville.
