Ionia Daily Standard, 20 Feb 1895

Barbara, wife of Otis Churchill, Orange, died at noon to-day.  She was nearly 47
years old, and by her former husband leaves one son who lives in Chicago.  Mrs.
Churchill went to Ann Arbor about three months ago, and underwent an operation
for cancer.  Since that she has been suffering from lung disease, which was the
cause of her death.  The funeral will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, at the brick
church, Orange.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was
buried in Oak Hill Cemetery as Barbara Whedon.]
