John Ciganik, 81, of Belding passed away Monday, March 19, 2007 at his home 
under the loving care of his family and Ionia Area Hospice.  He was born June 
3, 1925 in Canton, Ohio the son of William and Mary Panik Ciganik.  John was a 
foreman at the former Process Equipment Corp. in Belding for 40 years retiring 
in 1989.  He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.  John enjoyed old cars 
and playing cards.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was married on July 26, 1947 at St. Mary Church to Mary Jane Andres and she 
survives along with their children, Nick and Lynda Ciganik of Sturgeon Bay, 
WI, Jim and Julie Ciganik of Belding, Barbara and David Levinson of Beverly 
Hills, MI, and Marie and Robert Swann of Cary, NC.  John is also survived by 4 
grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, his brothers and sisters, Bill and Karen 
Ciganik of Plant City, FL, Jerry and Donna Ciganik of Greenville, Lilly 
Rinvelt of Grand Rapids and Mary Ann Bies of Minnesota and his brother-in-law, 
Mervin Inman of Corunna.  John was preceded by his parents and one sister, 
Margaret “Marge” Inman.

Mass of Christian Burial be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church with 
Fr. Fred Brucker as celebrant.  Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.  
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 
8:30 p.m. at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.  Memorial contributions 
may be given to Ionia Area Hospice, St. Mary Church or the charity of one’s 
choice.
