The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, May 15, 1948

John Cisar, 76, of Yeomans street, died Friday evening at 7 o’clock at the 
Ionia County Memorial hospital after being a patient there for about a week.

A native of Czechoslovakia, Cisar had lived in this country for many years.  
For the past ten years he was sexton of Oak Hill cemetery.  He has no 
relatives in this county.

Services will be held from Boynton’s funeral home Tuesday at 10 a.m. with 
interment in Oak Hill cemetery.
