Belding Banner – Wednesday, 12 June 1918
Chas. Claflin, aged 68 years, a resident of Greenville, where he was employed 
in the Ranney factories, died suddenly Friday night at his home in that city.  
Death was caused by heart disease.  Mr. Claflin and family were former 
residents of this city, he being then employed at Factory H and they then 
lived on East Division street in the house now occupied by Grant Franciaco and 
family.  He was well known here in former years and was a father of Harry 
Claflin.
