Rice was born on March 26, 1833 in Lansing, N.Y. On June 20, 1852 she was married to Josiah C. Clark. Mrs. Clark has lived in Sebewa for a number of years having been one of the early pioneers. She died on the 13th of August, 1910 and was buried on the 15th the funeral being held in the Sebewa Baptist church of which she was one of the charter members. Mrs. Clark was an exemplary woman being a model of cheerfulness in time of trial, and her unfailing faith in her Savior has surely gained for her a home in the kingdom of her Lord. ---- Card of Thanks.
