The funeral will take place from Mr. Knight’s residence, High street, Wednesday afternoon. ---- The funeral of Mr. Peter F. Clark took place from the residence of his daughter, Mrs. A. A. Knight, High street, at 1:30 this afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev. Dr. J. T. Oxtoby, of the Presbyterian church, and were largely attended by friends and neighbors. The interment was in the city cemetery. Mr. Clark, whose death occurred on Monday morning, was an old and well known resident of our city. He was a native of Steuben county, N.Y., and came to Michigan at an early day (in 1836) and was one of the pioneers of Ionia, moving into Otisco in 1847, and has been a resident of this city since 1864. He early identified himself with the temperance cause and has been its ardent friend and advocate for many years. He was a good citizen, a faithful Christian, and at a ripe old age has gone to his rest.
