She had been in poor health several months and only recently returned from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Stella Schanzenbaker, of Battle Creek, to be smitten with the fatal malady. He died about 37 years ago and three years later she married Albert Clark, who preceded her in death by seven years. She was affiliated with the Methodist Episcopal church, the Security Benefit association and the Women’s Relief corps, and as long as she was able was active in their interests, cultivating the friendship of many by her sweet, gentle mannerisms. Three daughters, Mrs. Earl Alspaugh and Mrs. Inez Filer, of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Schanzenbaker, of Battle Creek, survive her. Also three brothers, Edward and Elmer Wright of Ohio, and Robert Wright, Yeomans street, Ionia. The funeral services will be held from the residence, 301 East Washington street, Tuesday afternoon.
