The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, January 29, 1948

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in Crystal with interment in 
the family lot in Crystal cemetery for Frederick William Clark, 65, who died 
in Greenville Sunday after being ill for the past fifteen years.

He was born April 14, 1882 in Bedford England coming to this country when he 
was sixteen.  He farmed in Muir for about twenty years.  For four years before 
moving to Greenville he worked for the Stafford in Ionia.

Surviving are three sons, Lyle of Lansing; Fred of Lyons and Richard of Ionia; 
one daughter, Mrs. Grace Vincent of Lansing; one half-sister, Mrs. Jennie 
Crandall of Ionia; one half-brother, Ernest of Crystal; five grandchildren and 
two great grandchildren.
