Lyons Herald, 5 Mar 1903

Wesley Clark died at his home in Ionia township Thursday, Feb. 26, of heart
failure.  He was 68 years, 3 months and 17 days old; has been a resident of this
township for fifty years.  Deceased served all through the war of the rebellion.
 When yet a young man he was married to Seneth Flag.  Four children were born to
them, of which two are living, Mrs. Geo. Sechefield of Crystal and Mrs. John
Hicks of Ionia.  He is mourned by these two daughters and a widow, besides a
wide circle of friends.
