She was born in South Dayton, N.Y., March 21, 1896, the daughter of Henry and Ada Mendonsa and had lived most of her life in the Belding area. She was a member of Belding Church of Christ, Greens Ladies Aid and Good Neighbor club. On January 21, 1916, she was married to Frank Clark who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Franklin of route two, Belding, and Paul Clark of Ionia; three half sisters, Mrs. William Broad of East Aurora, N.Y., Mrs. Marie Holman of New Hampton, Mass., and Mrs. Ruth Dimick of Grandville, Ohio; one half brother, Richard Mendonsa of East Aurora, N.Y.; and five grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted at Huffman funeral home Friday at 2 o’clock with the Rev. Sid Baarda of Belding Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be at River Ridge cemetery. Bearers will be Homer Cowles, Eugene Smith, Wilford Shawley, Fred Sears, Paul Nichols and James Phenix.
