Coroner Dale Kauffman, said death was due to natural causes. Mrs. Clark was born in Munich, Germany; January 21, 1888, the daughter of Jacob and Clara Neustifter. She was married June 17, 1908 to Arthur Clark and had resided at the present location since moving to Ionia in 1913. Mr. Clark died in 1954. Mrs. Clark is survived by three sons, Arthur Clark of Belding, Harold of Saranac, and Eugene of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; also a brother, Richard Neustifter of Lewisburg, W. Va.; and two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Reindl and Mrs. Anna Enpfenzeder of Bavaria, Germany. Funeral service will be Thursday at 2 p.m., at Stone-Kauffman funeral home with interment at Balcom cemetery. ------------ Ionia Sentinel Standard, 7 Jan 1966 Funeral service for Mrs. Elsa Clark, 77, of 1528 South State road who died late Monday afternoon at her home, was at 2 o’clock Thursday. The Rev. Ray R. Fassett of Evangelical United Brethren church officiated and interment was at Balcom cemetery. Bearers were Arthur Clark, Jr., Patrick Clark, Gary Clark, John Neustifter, James Neustifter and Theodore Sprank. Out of town friends and relatives were from Belding, Saranac, Grand Rapids, and Colorado Springs, Colo.
