Hazel D. Clark, 82, of Saranac passed away Jan. 4, 2002, at her home.  She was 
born Nov. 9, 1918, in Ionia the daughter of William G. and Maude (Beech) 
Hoople.  She went on to marry Harold J. Clark on June 21, 1946, in Saranac.  He 
preceded her in death on March 10, 1994.  She was a member of the American 
Legion in Saranac.

She is survived by three daughters, Sonja Stuart of Florida, Sandra (Paul) 
Kinyon of Alto, Dianne (Doug) Harrington of Saranac; two sisters, Beulah (Joe) 
Hill of Ionia and Valeeta Redemsky of Florida; nine grandchildren and 15 great 
grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday at the Lake Funeral Home in 
Saranac with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 
8:30 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.

Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to Hospice of Ionia County.
