Clark, 62, 817 Sixth Avenue, died suddenly Friday of a heart ailment at his office at Clark’s Feed Mill. He was a lifelong resident of Odessa Township and had owned and operated Clark’s Feed Mill since 1952. Mr. Clark was born January 20, 1897 in Odessa township, the son of George and Martha (Downer) Clark. He was married to Selpha Stout September 14, 1918 in Ionia. They lived on a farm in Odessa Township until they moved to Lake Odessa in 1951. Mr. Clark’s survivors include his wife, Selpha; two daughters, Mrs. Niles (Marie) McDiarmid, and Mrs. William (Greta) Wagner of Grand Ledge; five grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Florence Vanderear and Mrs. Zoie Sinclair, both of Charlotte, Mrs. Lynette Kimmel of Lake Odessa, and Mrs. Nettie Haskill of Lansing, and three brothers, Lee and Gilbert of Lansing and Clayton of Hastings. The body of Mr. Clark is at the Pickens Funeral Chapel where service will be conducted Monday at 1:30 pm. The Rev. A. J. Pitman will officiate and burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery.
