Ionia Sentinel Standard – November 1, 2011



Alberta (Allen) Clark, 83, of Ionia passed away Oct. 29, 2011 in Ionia. She was 
born Dec. 11, 1927 in Howell. She married Leo Vance Allen, and he preceded her 
in death.



Alberta is survived by her children Edward (Ellen) Allen of Whitmore Lake, 
Sharon (Bob) St. Charles of Whitmore Lake; 10 grandchildren and several great 
grandchildren also survive.



She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia and very special friend, 
Leo Allen Jr.



Alberta was very thrifty and quick-witted. She loved to play cards and she 
could never pass up a garage sale.



Funeral services will be held at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia at 1 p.m. 
Tuesday with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment Tuttle Cemetery. 
Visitation will be at 11a.m. Tuesday until the time of services.
