Mr. Clark was born in Puerto Rico and was a former resident of Saranac, from 1950 until 1984. He served as a paramedic with the Saranac Volunteer Fire Dept. and was a member of the Saranac Library Board. Mr. Clark retired after 27 years as an administrator with the State of Michigan. He was an ordained minister with the Southern Baptist Association. Mr. Clark was a veteran of World War II serving with the United States Coast Guard. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Zeida Brockmeyer Clark of Fort Pierce, Fla.; two sons, Robert C. Clark (Patti) of Concord, Calif., and David a Clarke (Clara) of Davidson; two daughters, Ann E Clark Petersen (Roger) of Inverness, Ill., and Victoria Clark Tillman (Bud) of Fort Pierce, Fla.; and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011 at the family home, 1561 B Pheasant Walk, Fort Pierce, FL 34950. A graveside funeral service with Military Honors will be held at 12:45 p.m. on Oct. 24, 2011 at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Fla.
