He was born April 11, 1943 in St. Johns the son of Ray K. and Theo F. (French) Clark. Doug married Darla Gould Oct. 24, 1992 in Saranac. He worked for the State of Michigan Department of Corrections for 31 years. He was a member of NRA and Sons of American Legion. He loved to farm, fish, hunt and he had a great sense of humor. Doug is survived by his loving wife of 16 years Darla Clark of Saranac; daughters Buffy Conroe (Eric) Hearld of Saranac, MaryBeth (Charles) Graves of Battle Creek and Kristi (Dennis) Albert of Belding; mother, Theo Clark of Ionia; brother Roger (Terri) Clark of Saranac; grandchildren, Kaiden Tyler, Kameron Conroe and Anthony Graves; special friend, Jim (Doc) Holladay and many brothers-and-sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father. A memorial service will be held Friday, 11 a.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac. The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
