He was born on Jan. 9, 1928 in Smyrna, Mich. the son of Fay and Mildred (McSorely) Clark. Donald was a lifelong dairy farmer and loved hunting and fishing. He attended Shiloh Community Church and Green Corners Baptist Church. He attended Davenport College and the Dale Carnegie Institute. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Helen in 1995, daughter Cathy Clark in 1963, brother Clyde “Bud” Clark, and a sister-in-law Judy Guild. Surviving are daughters Linda Wabeke of Sparta and Nancy (Fran) Rodriguez of Lake Odessa; son, Steve (Minnie) Clark of Port Charlotte, Fla.; grandchildren Patti (Mike) Krieger, Aaron (Julie) Wabeke, Steven Wabeke, Scott Rodriguez, Darrell (Audria) Rodriguez, Lonnis (Ashley) Eavey, Holly (Jim) Eavey and Candis (Tebore) Hantel; great-grandchildren Mykala, Jacob, Aiden, Lilliane, Hannah, Joani, Amber, Stephanie, Matthew, Amanda, Frank, Alyssa, Christina, Brittney, Macully, Bryce and Hallie; sisters, Helen (Gerald) Blow of Saranac and Florence Rittersdorf of Grand Rapids; brother James (Kristie) Clark of Burbank, Calif. and special friend Janet Martin. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Jan. 15, 2008 by pastor Kenneth Harger at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia. Interment will follow at Alton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
