The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, May, 2009

Earnest W. Clark, aged 87, of Lyons, passed away May 12, 2009.  He was born 
March 22, 1922 in Matherton, the son of Albert and Wilamena (Fisher) Clark. He 
married Lena Hissong Dec. 24, 1940, she proceeded him in death in 1979. 
Earnest worked for Chrysler Motors and Grand Trunk Railroads.

He is survived by his children Kathleen (Richard) Schueller of Fowler and 
Robert (Linda) Clark of Stanton; grandchildren Brenda (Mark) Korienek of St. 
Johns, Brian (Patty) Schueller of Fowler, Terrence Clark of Edmore and Kari 
(Brain) Hainojosa and great-grandchildren Aubree, Kody, Zachary, Ashlyn, 
Richelle and Hollie.

Earnest was preceded in death by one brother, one half brother, 2 sisters, one 
half sister and granddaughter Hollie.

Funeral services will be held Friday 2 p.m. and Lake Funeral Home in Muir with 
Rev. Greg Gladding officiating. Interment at Sebewa Cemetery. The family will 
receive friends and relatives Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. 
Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to Ionia Area Hospice.
