He had been a patient there three years. He was born Nov. 14, 1860 in Lyons and lived most of his life in that vicinity. For the past several years he had made his home with his son, Jay, who is the deputy sheriff and chief of police at Portland. He was married in November, 1890, to Martha Jenkins. She passed away in 19?0. He is survived by one son, Jay Clark, of Portland. The body was removed to the Neller funeral home at Portland. Arrangements for funeral services are incomplete. -------------------------- Funeral services for Elijah M. Clark, 93, who died Wednesday morning at 11:30 at Eckert Nursing Home, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Neller funeral home in Portland with the Rev. Richard Gardner officiating. Interment will be at Portland cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leo Lehman, Roy Dawdy, Floyd Reed, Arthur Megarah, Tharon Moyer and Sam Burman.
