Ionia Daily Sentinel, 1 Aug 1916

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Clark were held this afternoon at 2 o’clock 
at the home of her son, L. S. Clark.  Rev. C.E. Hoag conducted the service, and 
Mrs. Harry E. Spencer and Mrs. Eugene Smith sang.  The bearers were Fred 
Carpenter, O. C. Wright, Fred Cutler, jr., and Archie Anderson.  Interment was 
in Oak Hill.  From out of the city to attend funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. 
Sebright, Mr. and Mrs. Myron Sebright of Brooklyn, Mich., Frank L. Clark of 
Saginaw and Frank Clark of Grand Rapids.  The Rebekah lodge of which deceased 
was a member, attended the services in a body.
