Clark, 78, of Belding, passed away Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006, at his home. Robert was born on June 18, 1928, in Wyoming Township, Kent county, the son of Ben and Nellie May Specht Clark. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a long-time member of Belding Assembly of God, where he served as the leader of the men’s ministry. Robert is survived by his wife, Rebecca; six daughters, Regina McDaniel, Nancy and Bill Guinn, Peggy McDaniel, all of Belding, Judy and Ken Copeland of Greenville, Alice Geister, Cindy and Tony Brooks, all of Belding; nine grandchildren; Karla, Kevin, Derek, Maelisa, Ashley, Bradley, Cameron, Mykalia, Kendra; one great-grandson, Kayden; two sisters; Doris Green of Belding, Vivian Hoskins of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Belding Assembly of God, 614 N. Bridge St., with Pastor Adolph Flores officiating. Following the service cremation will take place. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Memorials may be given to Belding Assembly of God or the wishes of the family.
