Clark Drops Dead At His Store L. S. Clark, Ionia jeweler, dropped dead this morning shortly after arriving at his store on West Main street as he stood back of his counter engaged in his usual work. There was no indication of the coming, and Mr. Clark, who had been ill some time ago and whose illness, it is understood had been diagnosed as angina pectoris, had recently been feeling much better. He had been feeling especially well during the past day or two, Sunday having made a long auto trip to Lansing. This morning as he came down to the store he apparently was in the best of health and those who knew him did declare he had every appearance of feeling right. He had been at the store but a short time and was standing back of his counter with his ?? book when he suddenly collapsed and fell to the floor. He made no sound and breathed but a few times and expired. Upon the arrival of the physician who was immediately called he was found to be dead ?? evidently having come almost instantaneously.
