Sentinel-Std. - Monday, Aug. 23, 1954

LAKE ODESSA- Miss Leslie C. Clark, 65, a resident of Chicago, Ill., for the 
past eight years, died Sunday at 2 a.m. at St. Lawrence Hospital, Lansing, 
where she had been a patient for ten days. Miss Clark had been visiting with 
her sister, Mrs. Nathan Haskill of Lansing, when she became ill. 

She was born November 26, 1889, in Odessa township, the daughter of George 
and Martha Clark and before moving to Chicago had lived in the Lake Odessa 
area.

Surviving Miss Clark are five sisters, Mrs. Haskill and Mrs. Florence 
Vandecar of Lansing, Ms. Zoa Sinclair of Charlotte, Mrs. Hattie Shire and 
Mrs. Linnet Kimmel of Lake Odessa and four brothers, Lee and Gilbert of 
Lansing, Clayton of Hastings and Ray of Lake Odessa.

The body reposes at the Pickens funeral chapel where services will be held 
at 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.
