Lyons Herald – 16 April 1903


Died at his home in North Plains on Monday evening at 8:30, Henry C. Clark.  
Deceased had been sick or feeling bad only a few days and while sitting in his 
chair suddenly expired.  He had been a resident of North Plains for thirty 
years or more and by strict integrity and honest dealing had made for himself 
and wife a fine home.  He leaves to mourn his death a devoted wife, one 
brother, who lives in Wisconsin and a sister Mrs. R. W. Branyan of North 
Plains.  The date of the funeral has not yet been announced but interment will 
be in north Plains cemetery.  A more extended notice will be given next week.
