Lake Odessa – funeral services for Mrs. Velma P. Clark, 72, will be Wednesday 
at 3:30 p.m. at Pickens funeral chapel in Lake Odessa with burial in Lakeside 
cemetery.  Mrs. Clark of 330 Orleans Street, Battle Creek died Monday at a 
rest home there after a long illness.  She was born in Sunfield township, 
November 17, 1895, the daughter of Joseph and Susanna Minkus Statsick.  
November 28, 1935 she was married to L. J. Clark I Battle Creek and lived her 
married life there.  Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Kenneth Smith of Lake Odessa.
